Artone Studio is an AI-native design and build partner for technology companies. We design and build products, websites, and brands for AI and software teams, from YC-backed startups to established companies.
We're looking for a product designer who can take a brief, think through the problem, and ship clean, considered screens fast.
Remote
Work from anywhere, with 4 hours of overlap with Romanian time.
Contract
Paid hourly, task by task.
15+ hours
a week available.
Up to $50/hour
for every approved hour.
What you'll do
Product flows
Design web and mobile app flows for AI, SaaS, and fintech products, from wireframes to screens ready for engineering.
Design systems
Build and extend design systems so products stay consistent as they grow.
Frequent updates
Share progress often. Clients see an update every other business day.
AI in the workflow
Use AI to explore more directions and prototype early, then apply the judgment AI can't.
What we're looking for
- Exceptional visual taste: UI that looks as good as it works, refined down to spacing, type, and every state.
- 3+ years in product design, with shipped work in your portfolio.
- You think about why a screen exists, not just how it looks.
- You move fast without cutting corners: strong output in 3 focused hours a day.
- Expert in Figma: auto layout, components, variables.
- You estimate your own hours accurately and write clear updates.
- At least 4 hours of overlap with Romanian time (EET).

Intro call
A 30-minute call to get to know each other. Walk us through the two projects you're most proud of: how you built them, the decisions behind them, and your working files.

Paid task
If needed, a paid task of 2-3 hours ($100), close to real client work. Use the tools you'd use on the job.

Get set up
We agree on rate and hours and get you set up.
