Artone Studio vs ManyPixels: Design Partner or Graphic Design Subscription?
Artone Studio vs ManyPixels compared: pricing, scope, delivery, and which design subscription fits technology companies that need product, web, and build work.

Artone Studio is the better pick for technology companies that need product design, web, brand, development, and motion from one senior team, while ManyPixels suits teams that mainly need a steady flow of low-cost graphic design.
TL;DR: ManyPixels is a Singapore-based design subscription, operating since 2018, with plans from $699 a month and a scope built around graphic design, logos, illustration, motion graphics, and video editing. Artone Studio is an AI-native design and build partner at $5,000 a month, with our founder leading every engagement and a senior team covering product design, web design, brand identity, development, and motion. The two services solve different problems: ManyPixels handles creative production at volume, while we help decide what to build and then design, build, and ship it. ManyPixels lists UX design, prototyping, coding, and CMS website builds as out of scope, which is most of what a product team needs. For technology companies past pre-seed that need product thinking and shipped work, not just production capacity, Artone is the better fit.
What each studio is
Artone Studio is a design and build partner for technology companies: AI companies, SaaS and software teams, and digital products, from funded startups and scaleups to established product teams. We were founded in December 2022 and bring 9+ years of industry experience. Every engagement is led by Razvan Badea, who joins product calls, helps decide what to build and how it should work, and reviews every deliverable before it ships. Senior specialists in product, web, brand, development, and motion do the work under his briefs.
ManyPixels is an on-demand graphic and web design subscription run by ManyPixels Pte Ltd in Singapore. It says it has been operating since 2018, has served 2,000+ customers, and has completed 150k+ designs. Requests go through its own platform, a project manager assigns each one to a designer, and a quality controller reviews the work before delivery. Its help center says it is built for marketing teams, SaaS companies and SMBs, agencies using it as a white-label back office, and solo founders with recurring design needs.
Pricing and value
ManyPixels publishes four monthly plans:
- Advanced, $699/month: one daily output from the shared design team, next-day delivery.
- Business, $1,199/month: two daily outputs, next-day delivery.
- Assigned designer, $1,399/month: one part-time designer of your choice in your timezone (US Eastern, EU, or Indochina), same-day delivery.
- Two assigned designers, $2,599/month: two part-time designers.
Longer billing terms lower the monthly rate. Every plan includes unlimited requests, revisions, and brands, licensed stock assets, native source files, and full copyright transfer, with no contract.
Our Retainer is $5,000 a month: one request in progress at a time, with updates every other business day, across any discipline. Retainer Plus is $9,000 a month for two requests in progress at once. Both include unlimited revision rounds, cancel anytime, a pause once per 30-day cycle, and a 75% refund if the partnership is not a fit within the first week. For a single defined outcome, custom projects start at $2,000 with a 50/25/25 payment split, which ManyPixels does not offer, since it works only on subscription.
The price gap is real, but it reflects a different job. A ManyPixels plan buys design output from a pool of designers. Our retainer buys product judgment plus the design, code, and motion to ship it. If you want to see how our pricing works in detail, the Artone FAQ covers plans, terms, and payment.
Delivery and speed
ManyPixels measures capacity in daily outputs. On the shared-team plans, the first update arrives the next business day and the team works through your queue in order. The assigned designer plans move to same-day delivery, with your designer on Slack or Google Chat from 9AM to 6PM in your timezone.
We send updates every other business day. A request can be small and finished by the next update, or large, like a product redesign or an MVP build, with several progress updates before final delivery. AI is built into how we work, so more directions get explored and prototypes get coded early, but the speed comes from the workflow, not from cutting the thinking.
Services and capabilities
ManyPixels plans cover graphic design and motion graphics, with logos, illustrations, and video editing included on some tiers but not all (the assigned designer plans list only graphic design and motion graphics). Its help center lists what it does not do: coding, UX design or prototyping, website builds in CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Framer, 3D, audio editing, and 2D animation, with video capped at under 2 minutes for ads and social and under 5 minutes for general editing.
Our scope is built around what a technology company ships:
- Product design: web and mobile apps, design systems, prototyping, UI/UX audits.
- Web design: landing pages and multi-page sites, built in Framer.
- Brand identity: guidelines, logos and marks, pitch decks, brand assets, social graphics.
- Development: Framer builds, full-stack web apps and MVPs, mobile apps, backend and APIs.
- Motion design: launch videos, logo reveals, and product animations.
The practical difference: with ManyPixels, a landing page arrives as design files and you still need a developer. With us, the same team designs it, builds it in Framer, and hands the site over to your account.
Collaboration
ManyPixels runs work through its own platform, where you submit projects, talk to your designers, review designs, and manage files. A project manager sits between you and the designers on every plan, and each plan includes a Slack channel.
We work in a private Slack Connect channel, with optional weekly strategy calls. You talk directly to Razvan, with no account manager or project manager in between, and full ownership of every file, asset, code base, and Framer site transfers to you.
Clients, credibility, and recognition
ManyPixels shows a 4.8 out of 5 TrustScore from 149 Trustpilot reviews. One independent review notes that results depend on the designer you are matched with and how clear your briefs are.
Artone has delivered 80+ projects for companies with a combined valuation of $1B+. Our clients have raised over $10M in combined funding, and 2 out of 3 clients come back. Our work has been recognized by Awwwards, Effie Awards, Contra, Landbook, and Orpetron, including a Framer Site of the Year nomination, and we are an Official Framer Expert.

When Artone is the better fit
- You need product design, UX, and prototypes, not only marketing visuals.
- You want the same team to design and build your website, web app, or MVP.
- You want a product partner who helps decide what to build and challenges assumptions.
- You need one team across product, web, brand, development, and motion, without coordinating vendors.
- You want to talk directly to the person leading the work, not through a project manager.
- You have one defined project and want a fixed price instead of a subscription.
When ManyPixels is a good fit
- You need a high volume of social graphics, ads, presentations, or print work on a small budget.
- Your product and engineering work is covered in-house, and design support is mainly for marketing.
- You are an agency looking for white-label production design.
- You want a designer working in US Eastern, Central European, or Indochina time with same-day turnaround on simple requests.

Final take
ManyPixels is a solid option for affordable, high-volume graphic production, and its pricing is clear. But it stops at design files and leaves out UX, prototyping, and code. For technology companies that need someone to think through the product, then design, build, and ship it with one senior team, Artone Studio is the stronger choice. If that sounds like what you need, book a call with us and we will walk through your roadmap.
